Free Urdu Bible Distribution

Pakistan Urdu Bible Project

The Pakistan Urdu Bible Project, started in 2016, is one of the most life-changing missions of One Vision Society, led by Pastor Shakeel Din.
Its vision is simple yet powerful — to make sure that every believer and seeker in Pakistan has access to the Word of God in their own language, free of cost.

For many people in Pakistan, owning a Bible in Urdu — the national language — is a distant dream. Some cannot afford one; others live in places where Christian bookstores do not exist. Through this project, we are bringing the living Word of God into homes, hearts, and hands across the nation.

Why the Urdu Bible Project Matters

In Pakistan, there are millions of people who believe in Jesus Christ but do not have a personal Bible.
Some families share one Bible among many members. Others borrow one from their local church or neighbor. Many new believers, especially in rural areas, have never even held a Bible in their hands.

This lack of access makes spiritual growth difficult. Without daily reading and study of the Word, believers struggle to know God’s promises, learn biblical truth, and build strong faith.

The Pakistan Urdu Bible Project was created to meet this spiritual need — to put the Word of God into the hands of those who hunger for it most.

Our Mission and Vision

Our mission is to distribute free Urdu Bibles across Pakistan — to families, youth, pastors, students, and new believers — and to teach them how to grow through Scripture.

We believe the Bible is not just a book; it is the living voice of God. It brings hope to the hopeless, direction to the lost, and peace to the brokenhearted.
Every Bible we give is more than a gift — it is a message of God’s love.

Our vision is to see every household in Pakistan have at least one Bible in Urdu, so that no one is left without access to God’s truth.

How the Distribution Works

The process of Bible distribution begins with prayer and planning. Our team visits churches, villages, brick kiln communities, and outreach centers where people are in need of God’s Word.

We carry Urdu Bibles printed by trusted Christian publishers and deliver them free of charge. In every location, we also take time to pray with families, share the Gospel, and encourage them to read the Bible daily.

Sometimes, distribution happens during open-air evangelism meetings or church services. Other times, we go door to door, visiting homes in small towns and villages.
No matter the method, every Bible is given with love, prayer, and the hope that it will transform lives.

Stories of Changed Lives

In one remote area of Sindh, an elderly woman received her first Urdu Bible at age 70. Through tears, she said, “Now I can finally read God’s Word in my own language before I go to Him.”
In another region, a group of young people started a small Bible study after receiving free Urdu Bibles. Today, they gather weekly to read Scripture, pray, and grow in faith together.

Every testimony reminds us that the Word of God never returns empty.
Each Bible we give out carries the power to change a heart, strengthen a family, and bring a whole community closer to Christ.

Teaching and Follow-Up

We believe Bible distribution should go hand in hand with discipleship.
After distributing Bibles, our local pastors and volunteers return to those communities to help people understand what they read.

Through Bible study groups, home fellowships, and Sunday school programs, believers learn how to apply the Word of God in daily life.
This follow-up ensures that new readers don’t just receive a Bible — they also receive guidance and spiritual growth.

Digital Outreach and Online Bible Store

In 2020, during the pandemic, Pastor Shakeel Din launched the Online Urdu Bible Store, a digital platform where believers can request a free Urdu Bible online.
This step made it possible to reach people in distant or restricted areas who couldn’t attend church or physical events.

Using technology, One Vision Society continues to reach thousands more, proving that the Gospel can travel as fast as the internet does.
Through digital evangelism, audio Bibles, and social media storytelling, we are helping people encounter God’s Word anytime, anywhere.

Partnerships and Support

The success of the Pakistan Urdu Bible Project depends on faithful partners and generous supporters from Pakistan and around the world.
Churches, ministries, and individuals join hands with us by donating Bibles, printing funds, or sponsoring distribution trips.

Every contribution helps us print and deliver more Urdu Bibles into the hands of believers who have been praying for one.
When you support this mission, you become part of spreading the Gospel in Pakistan — one Bible at a time.

Challenges We Face

Printing and transporting Bibles in Pakistan is not always easy.
Costs are rising, and many rural areas are hard to reach. Some families cannot read, so we also provide audio Bibles and Bible storybooks for children.

Despite these challenges, we have seen God’s faithfulness again and again.
He opens doors, provides resources, and connects us with believers who are hungry for His Word.

We continue this mission with joy and faith, knowing that the Word of God is powerful and eternal.

Impact So Far

By God’s grace, the Pakistan Urdu Bible Project has distributed over 10,000 free Urdu Bibles since its beginning.
Every month, hundreds of new Bibles are given to families, pastors, and new believers across different provinces — from Punjab to Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

These Bibles are now being read in homes, churches, and schools, helping believers grow in their relationship with God.

Our dream is to reach every city and every village, ensuring that no one in Pakistan is left without the Word of God.

How You Can Help

“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.” — Isaiah 40:8

This verse reminds us that everything in this world may fade away, but the Word of God remains — powerful, eternal, and life-giving.
