Every day, countless families across Pakistan go to sleep hungry. Many of them live in small villages, slums, or brick kiln communities, struggling to find enough food for their children. Rising prices and lack of jobs make it even harder for poor families to survive.
Seeing this growing need, One Vision Society, under the leadership of Pastor Shakeel Din, began the FoodBox Mission — a heartfelt effort to fight hunger and bring hope to struggling families. This mission reminds us that a small act of kindness, like sharing a box of food, can change a life and restore faith in humanity.
The FoodBox Mission Pakistan was launched in 2017 with a simple but powerful goal — to ensure that no family goes hungry. What started as a few boxes of food shared among poor families has now grown into a nationwide movement of compassion.
Each FoodBox is carefully packed with essential food items like:
Flour
Rice
Lentils
Sugar
Cooking oil
Tea
These boxes contain enough food to support a family for nearly a month. Volunteers and team members personally deliver them to the doorsteps of families living in poverty.
Pakistan faces one of the highest rates of food insecurity in the region. Millions of children suffer from malnutrition, and many parents skip their own meals so their kids can eat. The FoodBox Mission was born out of this painful reality — a calling to make sure that no child goes to bed hungry.
By focusing on feeding poor families, One Vision Society brings practical help and emotional comfort. When a family receives a FoodBox, they not only get food but also feel seen, valued, and cared for.
The FoodBox Mission is more than a food aid project — it’s a movement of love and dignity. Every food box is prepared with care, packed with good-quality items, and given to families respectfully.
When our team visits homes, we don’t just hand over boxes — we take time to listen, encourage, and show kindness. Many families have shared that the FoodBox arrives just when they needed it most — a reminder that God provides through people who care.
Over the years, thousands of families have received FoodBoxes in cities, villages, and remote communities across Pakistan. These include areas hit by floods, droughts, and other disasters, where people often lose everything.
The FoodBox Mission Pakistan represents the heart of Christian compassion outreach. It reflects the teaching that true faith is shown through action — by helping those who cannot help themselves.
The volunteers and staff serve not out of duty, but out of love. They see each family as precious and every meal as a chance to restore hope. Whether in busy cities or faraway villages, the FoodBox Mission continues to shine as a light of care and kindness.
Fighting hunger is just one part of the bigger vision. Through the FoodBox Mission, One Vision Society is also helping families rise above poverty. Regular food aid gives them the strength and stability they need to focus on finding work, educating their children, and improving their living conditions.
By supporting poverty relief projects, we are not only filling stomachs but also planting seeds of change. A fed and hopeful family can begin rebuilding their lives.
The FoodBox Mission reaches people that most of society overlooks — the elderly living alone, widows raising children, daily wage workers, and families affected by natural disasters.
In brick kiln areas, where many families work long hours for little pay, the FoodBox brings relief and smiles. In flood-hit villages, it becomes a symbol of recovery. And in urban slums, it reminds struggling parents that they are not alone.
Every time a FoodBox is delivered, it carries a message of compassion — someone cares about you.
One Vision Society believes that compassion is the purest form of ministry. Through the FoodBox Mission, Pastor Shakeel Din and his team live out that belief every day.
The mission also runs ready-to-eat meal programs, where cooked food is distributed to people who cannot cook at home — such as the elderly, disabled, or homeless. This outreach has become a lifeline for many who have nowhere else to turn.
Volunteers from all walks of life join hands to pack, transport, and distribute food boxes. Together, they form a strong Christian compassion team — working hand in hand to serve the poor with joy and respect.
The impact of the FoodBox Mission Pakistan can be seen in the faces of the families it serves. Mothers express tears of gratitude, children smile with excitement, and fathers breathe easier knowing their families will eat tonight.
One mother from a village in Sindh said:
“When we had no food left and my children were hungry, the One Vision team arrived with a box full of food. I cried because I knew God had not forgotten us.”
Such moments remind the team why this mission exists — to bring hope where there was none.
The need for hunger relief in Pakistan continues to grow. With rising costs and unemployment, thousands of families still struggle daily. The FoodBox Mission aims to expand to new areas, reaching even more families every year.
Future plans include:
Increasing the number of FoodBoxes distributed each month.
Setting up community food storage centers in rural areas.
Partnering with local churches and organizations for wider distribution.
Launching nutrition awareness programs for mothers and children.
“The FoodBox Mission started with one simple goal — to feed the hungry. But over the years, it has become much more. It’s a reminder that even one box of food can bring hope, joy, and faith back into a family’s heart.”
